Taylerson's Malmesbury Syrup - a fine ingredient

Latest news

Chais flavoured syrup labelAnother new flavour!
After developing a new Chai flavour with some of my coffee shop customers we are pleased to announce our new Chai flavoured syrup (Chai is a natural flavour using spiced herbs and tea extracts) in the 250ml bottles.

How do you use it?
Ideally it goes in a latté to give a warm spiced flavour but it is very versatile and can be poured in to an ordinary coffee, or even cold with ice and milk- but at the moment the coffee shops seem to be offering it in frothy hot milk with a shot of coffee or chocolate.

great taste gold 08great taste gold 08We won GOLD
We are celebrating after winning a prestigious Great Taste Award. Malmesbury Syrups has been presented with a much-desired two star Gold Great Taste Award for its Amaretto Flavoured coffee/cooking syrup.

The Great Taste Awards judging standards, devised by the Guild of Fine Food, are the most rigorous in the UK. Every entry is blind tasted by teams of experts. By the time it earns gold, it will have been assessed by at least three different teams. All the judges’ comments are made available to producers. If no gold is awarded, they need to know how and why.

This year’s judges include Alex James, farmer, journalist and bass player with Blur, Mark Hix, the chef’s chef, Charles Campion from Evening Standard & The Independent, Tom Parker-Bowles of UKTV Food’s Market Kitchen and national food journalist Fiona Sims.

Coffee Shops - New range of coffee flavouring syrups from the Cotswolds

Ethical AddictionsLaunching this autumn through Ethical Addictions Specialty Coffee (EA)!   Ethical Additions, which supplies a great range of ethically sourced coffees, will now be offering Taylerson’s Malmesbury Syrups from the Cotswolds.

The growing recent trend is to have flavouring in your coffee.  But the syrups have tended to come from France or Italy, until now,  the choice just got better. Not only can you have an exceptional coffee direct from the farms of Africa, you can add a flavour of the Cotswolds, made using the finest ingredients.  But don’t take our word for it.  Great Taste Award 2008 winning Amaretto flavoured syrup is just one of the range alongside Ginger, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Hazelnut and Caramel.  These flavours are available to buy in Harrods and John Lewis, but now available to coffee shops, hotels and restaurants. Coffee shops, hotels and restaurants can now source their beverage requirements from the Cotswolds.

New Flavour—natural Ginger launched
It’s here, and we sold out the first weekend we went to support one of our outlets.
The Ginger has natural flavour and colouring making it look a little like traditional lemonade, being slightly cloudy.
Great in coffee but also just perfect for your Chinese meal recipes and ideal on melon. Make sure you order!
